While travelling in Tokaido, an elaborate basket pillow was very popular among many lords and in 1624, crickets baskets and wooven baskets are produced by concentric falconers who lived among the area near the castle.

 

In 1873, these bamboo products were presented as the Japanese specialized crafts in Vienna World Exhibition.

Since then, they represent as one of the Japanese traditional crafts in exhibtions all over the world.
